The Vendors and payments sheet above the Budget sheet. The vendor rows carry contract total, advance paid and its date, a second instalment with its own due date, a final balance with its due date, total paid, still owed, next due date and a status of Booked, Due soon, Overdue or Paid in full. The Budget rows below show event, category, item, who pays, planned, actual and the amount left, with over-budget rows in red and marked Over.
The Guest list and RSVP sheet above the Gift and shagun register. Each guest household row carries side, group, phone, adults, children, party size and a column per event holding Invited, Yes, No or Maybe, with a confirmed headcount at the top of each event column. The register below logs each gift by date, who it came from, side, event, type of cash, UPI, cheque, gift item or gold, the amount or value, whether a thank-you was sent, and an optional note of what you gave that family before.
The Summary sheet. The per event table lists date, planned, actual, amount left, percentage of plan used, invited and confirmed heads, cost per confirmed guest and gifts received, with a Shared row and a total. Below it the per category table shows planned, actual, left, percentage used and share of all actual for each of the categories, next to a gifts-by-type table counting cash, UPI, cheque, gift item, gold and vouchers with thank-you notes still to send.

About this product

Wedding and Event Budget Planner keeps a multi-day wedding in one Excel file. Set your events once, from haldi and sangeet to the reception, or a birthday or a corporate day, then plan the budget per event, track what each vendor is owed and when, collect RSVPs and log every gift received. The download is one ZIP of 6 files: a blank workbook, an example workbook filled in with a fictional wedding so every number and chart can be seen working, plus README, start-here, licence and credits files. Each workbook has 9 tabs, including Budget with 300 rows across 20 ready categories, Vendors for 60 vendors with an advance, a second instalment and a final balance that each carry their own due date, Guests for 400 households, Gifts for 500 entries, a Dashboard with 4 charts, and a Summary with cost per confirmed guest and a 12-month cash plan. It runs in Microsoft Excel with no macros and no add-ins. Tested on 25 September 2026 in Microsoft Excel for Windows: 0 formula errors across 18,462 cells per workbook, and 37 of 37 expected results when buyer data was typed into the blank file. Not tested in Google Sheets, Excel for Mac, Excel for the web or LibreOffice. One currency per workbook, no conversion. A planning tool, not financial advice.

Licence

Personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence: use the workbooks for your own wedding or events, edit anything, print or save as PDF for your own use. No reselling, sharing, giving away or uploading to template marketplaces or shared drives, edited or not. Questions

Does it work in Google Sheets, or on a Mac?

We do not claim it does. It was built and checked in Microsoft Excel for Windows (Microsoft 365) and has not been tested in Google Sheets, Excel for Mac, Excel for the web or LibreOffice. There are no macros and no add-ins.

Can I use it for something other than a wedding?

Yes. You name your own events on the Settings tab, up to ten plus a Shared row for costs that cover everything, so a birthday, an engagement or a corporate day works the same way. One currency per workbook, no conversion. It is a planning tool, not financial advice.

How do I get my file?

Right after payment you see a Download button on the payment page. Each link works for 10 minutes, so save the file straight away. If a link expires, write to us with your order ID for a new one.

Can I get a refund?

Digital products are final sale. If a download does not work, email us within 7 days of purchase with your order ID and a short screen recording. We send a working file within 2 working days, or refund you in full if we cannot. Read the refund policy

Is anything shipped?

No. Every product is a digital download. Nothing physical is shipped.

Is the payment secure?

Yes. Payments in India are processed by Cashfree, and payments from outside India by PayPal, each on its own secure checkout. We never see or store your card or bank details.
