Policy
Terms and Conditions
The agreement between you and us when you buy a service or a digital product from CodeUpVik.
1. Who we are
codeupvik.com is run by Vikram Bhargava ("CodeUpVik", "we", "us").
- Address: Hyderabad, Telangana, India
- Email: [email protected]
"You" means the person or business buying from us.
2. Agreeing to these terms
These terms apply whenever you buy from us. Before you pay, you will be asked to confirm that you have read and accept these Terms, our Refund and Cancellation Policy, our Delivery Policy and our Privacy Policy. That box is never ticked in advance. You tick it yourself.
For a service, the written quote we send you is also part of our agreement. Where the quote and these terms differ, the quote applies to that project. A quote cannot take away a right the law gives you.
You must be 18 or older to buy from us. If you buy for a business, you confirm that you are allowed to act for it.
3. What we sell
Fixed-price services
We offer Web Development, App Development, AI & Automation, Social Media Management, Startup Consultation, Investor Documentation, Enterprise Solutions, Consumer Applications, and Brand & GTM Strategy. Our homepage and service pages describe what each one covers.
Every project starts with a free 30-minute discovery call. If we go ahead, we send you a written quote. It states the scope, what you will receive, the fixed price, the payment schedule and the delivery date.
The price is fixed for that scope. If you ask for work outside the scope, we send you a new quote first. You are not charged for extra work unless you have accepted that quote in writing.
Digital products
When we sell a downloadable product, such as a template or kit, its product page states what the files contain, their format, what you need in order to use them, and the price.
4. Prices and taxes
- Before you pay, you see the total price as one figure, with a breakup of every charge in it, including any tax.
- Tax: no GST is charged on purchases from this store.
- We do not add a fee for paying by any particular method.
- You pay nothing beyond the total shown before you pay.
- If we offer a discount, we also show the price before the discount.
5. Payment
Online payments are processed by Cashfree Payments India Private Limited (cashfree.com; support contacts are listed there). Cashfree's own terms also apply to the payment.
Accepted online payment methods: UPI, debit and credit cards, net banking and wallets, processed by Cashfree.
Clients can also pay by bank transfer or UPI to the account details shown in their client portal. A payment is marked as received once it reaches our bank account.
We do not collect or store card numbers, CVV codes, UPI PINs or net-banking passwords.
For a service, you pay according to the schedule in your quote. For a digital product, you pay the full price at checkout.
No automatic recurring payments. We do not charge you automatically on a repeating basis. If we ever offer a subscription, this section will explain how to cancel it, and cancelling will be as easy as signing up.
Payment disputes. If something went wrong with a payment, write to us first, because that is usually the fastest fix. You can also raise a dispute (a chargeback) with your bank or card issuer at any time.
6. Delivery
Everything we sell is delivered online. Our Delivery Policy explains how and when.
7. Cancellations and refunds
Our Refund and Cancellation Policy explains the details. In short: all sales of digital products are final, with no refunds and no cancellations once payment is made. If a file does not download or is damaged, we send you a working file. For a service, you can cancel at any time and pay only for work done, and we do not charge a fee for cancelling.
8. What we need from you (services)
- The content, access, information and approvals your quote says you will provide, by the dates agreed.
- If we are waiting on something from you, the delivery date moves by the time we waited. We tell you in writing when this happens.
- You confirm that you have the right to give us any material you send, such as text, images, logos or data, for use in your project.
9. Who owns the work
- Services. Once you have paid in full for a deliverable, you own the final work we made specifically for you, such as your website's design and content, and documents and code written for your project.
- We keep ownership of tools, code and methods that we already had or that are not specific to you. You get a permanent right to use them as part of your deliverable.
- Third-party and open-source components stay under their own licences.
- We show your project in our portfolio only if you agree.
- Digital products. You get a licence to use the files in your own projects or your business's projects. You may not resell or share the files themselves, whether as they are or lightly changed.
10. Fixes after delivery
If something we built does not work as agreed, tell us. We fix faults you report within 30 days of delivery at no charge. This does not cover changes made to the work by you or someone else, or new features.
11. What we do and do not promise
We promise to do the work described in your quote with care. We cannot promise outcomes that depend on other people or systems, such as a search ranking, app store approval, a number of followers, or an investor saying yes.
We do not publish fake reviews or testimonials, and our descriptions of our services match what we deliver.
12. Limits of liability
If we are responsible for a loss, our total liability for a project or product is limited to the amount you paid us for it. We are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits or business interruption. Nothing in these terms limits any liability, or any consumer right, that the law does not allow to be limited.
13. Confidentiality
We keep non-public information about your business confidential and use it only for your project. This does not apply to information that is already public, or that a law or court requires us to disclose.
14. Complaints
Grievance Officer: Vikram Bhargava, Proprietor. Email: [email protected].
When you raise a complaint, we acknowledge it within 48 hours and give you a ticket number so you can follow its progress. We resolve it within one month of receiving it. Our Contact page has the full process.
These terms do not affect your right to approach the National Consumer Helpline or a consumer commission.
15. Law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Hyderabad, Telangana have jurisdiction, without affecting your rights under consumer protection law.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version on this page on the day you bought applies to that purchase. For a project already under way, a change applies only if you agree to it.
