Get your site read and cited by ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google AI Mode — a sourced guide plus a checker you run on your own pages.
Good to know It checks whether AI crawlers can read your pages and whether the pages are built to be understood. It cannot see how any AI product ranks or chooses sources. Crawler lists change; the kit's are dated 21 September 2026, with sources to re-check.

AI assistants now answer questions people used to search for, and they cite the pages they read. This kit shows you, page by page, whether those assistants can read yours — and what to change. The AI Search Readiness Checker runs on your computer. Point it at your pages and it reports who can read each page: 13 crawlers and opt-out tokens from OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, Google, Apple and Common Crawl, each with its role (search, user fetch, or training). robots.txt is evaluated with the rules of the robots.txt standard, RFC 9309, including a crawler with its own group ignoring your * rules, and an erroring robots.txt meaning "crawl nothing". It also reports what stops them on the page (noindex, nosnippet, max-snippet:0, missing title or description, no canonical, text that only appears after JavaScript, weak heading structure, invalid structured data, no date or author), checks llms.txt and your sitemap, and gives a score, a plain fix for every problem, and an HTML + JSON report. The 9-page GEO guide explains how AI search, user-initiated fetches and training crawlers differ, what Google says actually controls AI Overviews and AI Mode, five tested robots.txt recipes, and a 12-week plan. Every crawler fact comes from the company's own documentation, checked 21 September 2026, with links. No invented statistics, and no promises about rankings.

19 automated tests pass (21 September 2026): the robots.txt engine against the examples in RFC 9309 itself, the five recipes in the guide, and end-to-end runs over real HTTP against four test sites (well built, badly built, broken, and snippet-limited), including the command line writing its reports. Two deliberate breaks were each caught by the matching test, and the checker was run from an unzipped copy of the download.
