About this product
A working Next.js codebase for directory websites: tool directories, local business lists, resource libraries and curated link collections. Listings, categories, tags, search, a submission form, a moderation queue, paid featured slots and an admin panel are already built, wired together and tested. It runs on your machine straight after install with no API keys: an embedded Postgres database and a mock payment provider let you click through every screen, including paying for a featured slot. The demo directory and all its listings are fictional.

Licence
Both licences allow commercial use in unlimited end products, your own sites or client sites, with unlimited visitors, and removing DirectoryForge branding. Solo covers 1 developer; Team up to 5 developers in one organisation. Neither allows reselling or sharing the kit (or a substantial part) as a kit, template, theme or boilerplate, or publishing its source code publicly. Full terms are in LICENSE.md.
Questions
Do I need API keys to try it?
No. An embedded Postgres database and a mock payment provider let you run every screen, including paying for a featured slot, before you sign up for anything.
What is not included?
Email sending, reviews or ratings, image uploads (listings show generated monograms), multi-language setup, AI content and subscriptions.
Has the Stripe provider been tested with a live account?
Not yet. It follows the documented Stripe API and is covered by unit tests, and the full featured-slot flow is tested end to end with the mock provider. Run a test-mode purchase with your own account before going live.
How do I get my file?
Right after payment you see a Download button on the payment page. Each link works for 10 minutes, so save the file straight away. If a link expires, write to us with your order ID for a new one.
Can I get a refund?
Digital products are final sale. If a download does not work, email us within 7 days of purchase with your order ID and a short screen recording. We send a working file within 2 working days, or refund you in full if we cannot. Read the refund policy
Is anything shipped?
No. Every product is a digital download. Nothing physical is shipped.
Is the payment secure?
Payments are processed by Cashfree on its own secure checkout page.
